It was a night to remember in Mansfield for Team GriffonRawl. Four fighters from GriffonRawl set to compete infront of a huge crowd, two of which would be competing for belts.Starting the night off was Dave Osborne, Osborne would be taking on Donnie Morgan. Dave came out looking good, throwing kicks followed by punches in bunches, which would prove to be too much for the overwhelmed Morgan. Dave looked very impressive in this first rd tko to rack up his first cage win!Next on the card for GriffonRawl was Mentor PD's own, Jamie Covell. Jamies opponent, Dave Brown, came out looking very strong, taking the fight to the ground quickly, and would do much of the same in the 2nd. Jamie weathered the storm though, and in the 3rd rd, Jamie had to make something happen, or face a losing decision. Jamie dug deep, kept climbing guard, and to everyones surprise rolled out into an armbar, stealing the fight in one, if not THE most exciting finishes of the night.This takes us up to the first title fight of the night. Chuck Schilling(GR) vs Ray Jones (Team Beatdown). Schilling looked very impressive in the opening round, controlling the pace, making his presence known on the ground. The second and third was very much of the same. Chuck was in total control of all 3 rounds, and there was no doubt in the judges minds either, as Schilling would go on to win the 155lb Wreckroom Athletics Title.The last fighter from GriffonRawl to fight was AJ Pulling for the 170 lb title. AJ would be fighting one of wreckrooms own, Eric Truckovich. After standing briefly, AJ took Truckovich down, and imposed his will.
