Mike Russo (160lbs.) and Donny Walker (155 lbs) both competed in the pro division down in Cleveland Saturday for NAAFS "Caged Fury."Starting the night off for GriffonRawl was Mike "The Bull" Russo. Eventhough Mike's opponent was changed twice, the second time being within a week of the fight, "The Bull" lost no focus on what he had to do. Mike's entrance to the ring took longer than the fight itself. The bell rang, they touched gloves, and Mike quickly took Leo Fowler down. After about 10 seconds of jocking for postition, Mike found himself in top mount where he started to ground and pound Fowler. Wouldn't be long until the ref would call the fight, and Mike would get the quick "W", due to ref stoppage in the first round.Donny "Eagle Eye" Walker, would not have the same happy ending as his teammate did earlier. Donny faced off against Mike Bogner. The fight originally slotted for 155 was changed to 160 the week of the fight, due to Bogner saying he could not cut the weight. Walker's stand up looked well from the beginning. Unfortunately the percentage of the fight was spent on the ground.
