"Saint Valentines Massacre"

Columbus, Ohio

We went down to Columbus, Ohio for the St. Valentines Massacre. There Ben "Thundercat" Parks fought Paul Williams in the main event, for the 185 MMA amature title. In the first round it was a stand up war with both fighters landing explosive shots. Ben proved to be the more rounded fighter. Not only did Ben outstrike his opponent, he also was able to hit takedowns at will. In the end it was Ben Parks who submitted Williams by armbar at the end of round 1, bringing the title back home to GriffonRawl! Thanks to: AJ, Melissa, Mike, and Jason who also made the trip down to support their fellow GriffonRawl warrior!
