Jason completed a very frank and revealing phone interview on April 19th with Mike Radich. He talks about his time in TUF in detail, and the effect it had on his fight career. He covers his fights with George Sotiropoulos, Chris Lozano, Paul Bird and goes into his fight plans for 2012 and beyond.

Dent v Bird Fight Video

Jason won his fight in Iowa on April 7th by kimura. Paul Bird has just posted the video to his YouTube channel. We may not get to see Jason fight in Bellator this weekend, but this is pretty good too.

Jason Dent wins in Des Moines, Iowa

Jason Dent ended a 3 fight losing streak last night in Iowa with a submission win over the very tough Paul Bird. From a text early this morning:

“Stand up fight for round 1. I dropped him with a overhand right in round 2 and jumped on him to finish, ended up popping his arm with a kimura for the tapout. Felt good to win.”

The kimura had to be particularly satisfying over an opponent known for power submissions and whose last fight was a win over BJJ Black Belt by RNC.

Jason has a fight offer from Bellator for the April 20^th card in Cleveland pending approval from the Ohio Athletic Commission.
