This was our second time taking our fighters to an IFBL show and it won't be our last. Team GriffonRawl warriors that represented us were AJ Carl, John Strmac, Chuck Schilling, and of course Nick Goldizen. The night went very fast for us as our guys were fighting almost every other fight and were on the first half of the card. Our Teams record for the night ended up being 3-1 overall. Here is a quick description of our guys fights and how they won. Nick fought first and made short work of his guy by locking on a rear naked choke early in the first round. Second up for us was Chuck Schilling who ended up getting slammed pretty hard but remained relaxed and worked off of the bottom to catch his opponent in a rear naked choke also. Third up was John Strmac who looked good before getting caught in an armbar and being forced to tap out. John will be back to fight again and more focused then ever. Last but not least was AJ Carl who is the only one from our team that I actually had to go in between rounds to coach. AJ looked awesome and worked his guy over hard with some accurate and powerful ground and pounding. AJ also broke his opponents ribs with some beautiful knees to the body from side mount. After working his guy over AJ finished with a beautiful kimura to secure the win in round two. Great job I am proud of all of our guys for getting in there and going for it.Also a big thanks to all the GriffonRawl memberrs who showed up to support our guys fighting.
