The North American Allied Fighting Series (NAAFS) made their first appearance in Geneva, Ohio at The Cove. Three GriffonRawl fighters would make their NAAFS debut: John Strmac, Nick Goldizen, and Mark Stefanac.The night would be led off by John Strmac vs John Grigware. It was a hard fought 3 round fight, with the rounds going back and fourth to each fighter. When it was all said and done, John Grigware came out on top with the "W" in a slightly controversial split decision.GriffonRawl would not have another fighter in the cage until the 9th fight on the card. Nick Goldizen, with a couple wins under his belt already, would be fighting Marc Kofer. Marc charged out of his corner fast, quickly going for a takedown, which would only prove to be fatal. As fast as Marc took Nick down, Nick had his legs wrapped around his head. It wouldnt be long until Nick made him tap due to triangle choke, and earned GR's first win of the night.Mark Stefanac vs Chris Howard followed a couple fights later. Mark quickly pulled guard, and started working for a triangle choke.
